National Caregiver Support Line

The National Caregiver Hot Liine opened February 1st 2011 to assist Caregivers and Verterans and others seeking information in providing caregiving services for our nation's veterans. The National Caregiver Support Line is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time.  The National Caregiver Support Line Toll-Free number is 1-855-260-3274. http://www.caregiver.va.gov/

 

Operation Homefront

Operation Homefront was created to channel pent-up volunteer support to help the families of our deployed military personnel.  With over 250,000 service members deployed for a possible war with Iraq, and countless others around the world fighting the war on terrorism, thousands of spouses and children are left behind, many in need. Operation Homefront is there for them. We support the families while their loved ones are conducting the business of American.

 

Veterans and Mesothelioma

Veterans can develop mesothelioma as a result of asbestos exposure during their military service.
Marine Corps veterans that spent time at sea aboard Navy ships may have been exposed to asbestos and could be at risk to develop mesothelioma.
